I don’t know about you but now that summer is here, snacks have to be even easier to get into the kids! And healthier… But with this round-up of these kid friendly healthy fruit popsicles they are not only kid-friendly but mom-friendly too because they are all made with 5 or less ingredients AND less than 5 minutes! Can’t get better than that right?
What are the healthiest popsicles?
The more basic and the more fruit and veggie filled you can keep your Popsicles the healthier they will be. Whatever you do, do not add sugar to your popsicles! Then you may as well just buy them from the store.
The fruit will add enough sweetener to the popsicles without adding in any sugar.
How do I get my popsicles out of the mold?
This can be kinda tricky, but there’s a simple little hack that will make the popsicles slide out! Hold the popsicle molds upside down under hot running water for 30 sec to a minute. This will release the popsicle, and you’ll be able to just slide it out.
Most popsicles take 4 hours to freeze to solid. If you start with frozen fruit starting out, you can cut the time to about 3 hours. If your making a popsicle that is mostly liquid you can count on it taking 6 hours to freeze solid.
