Always coming up with snack ideas is hard isn’t it? Especially since it’s so easy to just buy the packaged snacks from the grocery store! It’s especially hard if you want to start giving your kids healthier lunches, but you don’t have the time, or the skill to make all those yummy goodies you see all the ‘Pinterest Moms’ making. But you know what? It IS possible. You can give your kids healthy snacks– without needing any skill or extra time! I’m going to share with you 4 different healthy yogurt fruit dip recipes that only use 3-4 ingredients, and minutes to prep!

You know what the best part is? The kids love it! And seriously all you need to do is spend 10 minutes at the beginning of the week – MAX 10 MINUTES.

Make a big enough batch of each recipe, so all your kids (and you, because honestly- it’s sooo good!) can have it every day! And with the different flavors and fruits that go with them, you won’t get sick of it!

Not only am I going to give you these super simple yogurt fruit dip recipes, I’m going to share with you a little trick that I do so I can prep the fruit for the entire week! That way, I can spend 15 minutes, and I have the snacks prepared for the week ahead.

What do I use so I can prepare the fruit (I mean cut them up and still have them fresh for the week?) Mason jars! With these really awesome mason-to-go lids, the jar gets sealed, keeping the cut fruit fresh. I can put the dips in another little jar and screw it on top. Both using the same lid!

Plus- there’s the bonus of it being reusable because I can just wash, and use them again the next day, and it’ll seal again. It’s like a nifty lid that you can use for 2 things, at the same time! Check it out here!

Now that you know what I use to keep the fruit fresh- and the dip! I’ll get to the point of actually giving you the recipes. Even though you won’t need a step by step tutorial, I’ll give it to you anyways!

 

Step by Step Recipes For Healthy Yogurt Fruit Dip

Peanut Butter Fruit Dip

1 cup yogurt

1 tbsp honey

3 tbsp peanut butter

Whisk together well, then portion into little 125 ml mason jars.

This one is absolutely delicious with apples (of course) and bananas.

If you’re going to be cutting the apples and bananas up ahead of time, just chop them up and then let them sit in a solution of lemon and water for 5 minutes. About 1 cup water and 2 tbsp lemon juice.  After they sit in the lemon juice, rinse them off and let them dry on a paper towel. I promise you won’t taste the difference!

Honey Vanilla

1 cup yogurt

1 tbsp honey

1 tsp vanilla

Whisk together well,  and portion into 125 ml jars mason jars.

This recipe is delicious with any fruit!

Chocolate Dip

1 cup yogurt

1 tbsp honey

1 tsp vanilla

2 tbsp cocoa powder

Whisk together well, and portion into 125 ml mason jars.

This one is soooo good with strawberries! (obviously)

Key Lime

1 cup yogurt

1 tbsp honey

Zest of one lime (for milder taste- add 2 tsp lime juice instead)

Whisk together well, and portion into 125 ml mason jars.

Tastes amazing with kiwi’s, pineapples, strawberries, apples- Ok almost any fruit!

See how easy these all are to make? It is so doable!

How to batch prep these yogurt fruit dips

Once you have all your different flavors into the little 50 ml jars, screw on the all amazing mason to go lids- have I told you yet how handy they are!

Then, cut up and prep all the fruit you will need for the week, portion them into the handy 150 ml mason jars, and flip the mini jar with the dip upside down and use the other side of the lid to seal the fruit

Now, when you make lunches, you can easily grab one right out of the fridge and pop it into the lunchbox. Or when they come home from school- it’s all ready for them!
