Some other easy pasta dinner favourites of ours are is this sausage pasta recipe, this easy chicken stir fry and this pork and spinach stir-fry!

This entire meal is prepped by only making a cutting board, a knife and a garlic press dirty! If you have one that is, and if you don’t well you really should get one because adding fresh garlic to any recipe will up-level it by 10x than just using powder!

Usually, by 5 PM, I have no energy left. Like literally NADA. I’m not the only one right? Like  I can be fine all day, and then 5 PM hits and it’s like a switch gets flipped and I just got nothing left.

That’s one of the biggest reasons why I love this dump baked chicken dinner so much!

Just kidding. It’s also delicious.

But in all honesty, if it took a ton of work to get it on the table, well it probably wouldn’t get made very often!!

Here’s step by step on how to make this baked chicken pasta recipe!

Although it’s really easy enough that  I don’t even have to give this to you.

1.Dump your pasta on the bottom of a 9×13 casserole dish.

2.Chop up your veggies and stir into the pasta

3.Add seasonings and stir.

4.Dice chicken and top with salt and pepper

5.Pour water over top then cover

6.Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

7.Top with cheese and croutons, bake another 10 minutes or until your cheese is melted.

I told you it was super easy! Honestly, this is one of those dump recipes that can’t get easier! This is the meal that you make when your exhausted, don’t have the energy or those kids are driving you bonkers.

Since the pasta is going in this dish raw,  I suggest that you don’t stir the dish once the chicken is on top! You want the pasta to stay covered with water or you’ll have raw pasta if it poking out over top the chicken.

Can this chicken pasta be made ahead?

Yes. You can prep the casserole as directed, and then put it in the fridge for up to 3 days before baking.

Can I freeze this chicken pasta casserole?

Yes. Either bake and then freeze, or pre-make it and then freeze. If you are going to freeze it without baking, then I would cook the chicken before assembling it.

How do you reheat this pasta casserole?

If it already been baked, simply cover it with 2 layers of foil, and reheat in an oven preheated to 325 for 30 minutes, or until hot.

If your cooking it for the first time after freezing this meal, then let it defrost and then bake for 1 hour and then top with cheese and bake for another 10 minutes.

Can I use other vegetables in this casserole?

Yes! Swap out the vegetables for the vegetables that you and your family like best!
