First, I’m Jacqueline, a mama to 5 and expecting baby #6 in the spring of 2021. My kids are all still pretty young, my oldest only 8! So yes, when you say you’re a busy mom and you don’t have the time or the desire to cook, I totally know what you mean!
My main objective is to figure out how I can feed my family in the easiest, cheapest, but still healthy meals.
Now that doesn’t mean I’m going to show you how to make a week’s worth of meals for only $20.
But that being said, I do have a budget for food that I need to stick to! So I’m not buying all the convenience foods, like everything pre-cut, or already made.
Sorry, but for convenience foods that are actually GOOD for you are expensive. Especially when you’re feeding a family of 7.
So what AM I going to show you with my blog?
I am sharing every single super simple recipe I can give you! Basically, I do my best to have one-pot meals with minimal ingredients.
Very seldomly do I ever spend more than 20-30 minutes on dinner. If not less. And I’m going to teach you how to do that too!
I’m not big into meal prep, but I do meal plan! Do I love it? NOPE. But is it essential to making dinner time easier? You bet!
